Choose a Wayfarer!
ASYMMETRIC or SYMMETRIC
The Wayfarer available with either asymmetric or symmetric spinnakers originally intended for sailing schools. The asymmetric is now available for all, providing a new dimension to this classic class (not suitable for racing).
The Wayfarer is a high quality, hand built, G.R.P. constructed training dinghy. The solid construction of both its hull and deck ensures stiffness together with long term durability. With a length of just under 16 feet, this dinghy provides room for up to 6 people to sail in comfort. Its length, together with its excellent handling characteristics, ensure that you are soon confident with the boat and leaves you to focus on having fun with the family. With options for jib furling, spinnakers and outboard motors, this really is a hugely versatile craft.

The Wayfarer Mark IV has been independently tested by the RYA, in accordance with strict safety requirements, it has been awarded CE certification:
Every Wayfarer is hand built by our skilled workforce, the result is that each boat is built to high standards and has excellent finishes. Each Wayfarer is built to the buyer's own exact specification. Starting with the choice of hull colour, individual specifications could include extra reinforcement for training groups, more storage, rear seats or even extra cruising storage tie-down points for example.
Our secret to building you a good Wayfarer is to find out how it is to be used and then to use the experience we have gained over the years to deliver the best product custom built to meet your needs. The boat is constructed from (GRP) glassfibre, polyester resin and uni-directional glasscloth throughout with internal stiffening ribbed structures. Accidents, bumps, and scrapes are easy to repair in GRP and most importantly it is hard wearing and affords longevity to the boat.
Cruise Wayfarers come complete with a standard fit-out, ready to sail with mainsail and genoa. We also offer a full range of optional extras from which to choose, should you wish to upgrade or personalize your boat to meet your individual requirements.
